My Star

He was loud,she was quiet.
He was rude,she was kind.
He was bold,she was shy.
They were polar opposites and everyone always wondered just how she'd managed to put up with him for so long.In truth,Black Star always different when it was just the two of them.He was quieter,kinder,and maybe even a little less bold.One could see they cared for each other quite a bit.One also couldn't help but notice that Black Star was also a tad possessive when it came to Tsubaki.He hated seeing other men talking to her.He'd sit there and fume,glaring at spouting insults,then beat the crap out of them.Tsubaki didn't approve of this behavior,but she never once said anything against it,knowing that was just his personality and he'd act like that regardless.


She couldn't express her shock when he actually pulled her away from one male student seeking a date with the shy weapon."B-Black Star!"She exclaimed when he finally came to a stop.He stood quietly for a minute before releasing a sigh.He opened his mouth to speak but shut it again.Another period of silence passed before he finally spoke."I don't like it when they talk to you.They don't deserve someone like you."He paused briefly and closed his eyes."Sometimes I don't even think someone as great as me deserves you.."He finished.Tsubaki's eyes widened and she shook her head.Her memory drifted back to that time when they had been sitting at the school,overlooking the city.The words he had said then floored her.
"If the dark sky is me,then the stars must be Tsubaki."
He had said it so simply,yet he had clearly just stated she shone brighter than he always claimed to be.Tsubaki closed her eyes and smiled."Black Star..."She started softly.He turned around to face her with an eyebrow raised."I understand."She nodded.Black Star paused and gave a small smile.It was his turn to be in shock when she pulled him into a hug."T-Tsubaki?"He asked,blushing heavily.
"You will always be my star."She answered with a smile.Black Star blinked before hugged her back."Thank you,Tsubaki.For always being there..even when the great me is a stupid monkey."He grinned."Thank you for always being with me."Tsubaki responded.Black Star then pulled away and looked up at her,as if debating something.He scrunched his face before sighing.He then stood up on his tiptoes,putting him on almost eye level with her.The demon blade was about to question him when he placed his lips on hers as best he could.Tsubaki's eyes widened and her face turned bright red,but she kissed back.Black Star pulled away first and rocked back on his heels,grinning stupidly.Tsubaki giggled softly.She paused when he suddenly took off running."B-Black Star?!"She cried,dashing after him.She reached the school and noticed him standing on one of the tall Shibusen spikes.Worry crossed her face."YAHOO!I LOVE YOU TSUBAKI!!!!"He cried.She felt the eyes of the few students who were still at school fall on her."I love you too Black Star."She smiled quietly.

"Oi....what the hell's he going on about now?"Soul asked,turning to glance back at his friend as he and Maka started home."Who knows?It's Black Star."Maka answered with a shrug.The scythe paused and shrugged as well."Good point."
